an ordinary Jesus girl.  I’m a wife and mother of four.  It could be said that my search for any “tool” that will help me be the kind of wife and mother I long to be is endless!   In 2001, that search led me to open Motherhood Press.  I was searching high and low for a day planner that put God first, incorporated my Catholic traditions, and kept me organized.  God nudged me in a big way and 3 years/2 babies later, I published a day planner called Orderly Days.  From 2004-2009 I enjoyed raising my babies and shipping out planners!  The journey God had me on was an exciting one filled with deepening my faith and meeting amazing people along the way.  In 2009, daily life with four kids took precedence over Motherhood Press and I thought my season in this ministry was complete.  What I can recognize now is God’s hand on me and this company .. planting seeds for what would come.

In 2014, a friend asked me if I would be interested in co-presenting a new women’s group called Awaken to the B.E.S.T.  The road that led to Awaken is really the story of my soul that I hope will be revealed thru my "pondering."  My involvement with Awaken rekindled in my heart this desire to encourage women into relationship with Jesus and to know what they believe and why they believe it.  Without really understanding where this was going I followed God’s prompting to re-open Motherhood Press.  So, in 2015, on the Feast of our Lady of Lourdes Motherhood Press was once again in business.  One would think I had an iron-clad business plan or even a product .. not at all!  My husband is a saint - it sounds even a bit crazy to me!  Even as I write this when people ask me “so what are you doing exactly with Motherhood Press?” .. I smile and the only reply that makes any sense to me is “you know, it’s evolving!”

What I do know now is God has inspired me to embrace and elevate the dignity of Motherhood by discovering His order and encouraging other women to authentically live that order in the rhythm of daily life.  Did you catch that I’m still discovering how to do that too?  It’s a journey I hope you will join me in traveling.  Part of my story - the story of my soul - is my journey of discovering myself and who I am and what it means to be God’s daughter.  I am practically imperfect in every way and my quest to be comfortably consistent in my daily life is quite possibly my only area of consistency!
